What is a thriller?

A thriller can be a play, novel or a film which will aim to excite the viewers .  Keeping viewers on the edge of there seats, creating a high level of suspense.

Examples of successful thriller films:

Genres: 

There are many different types of genres. Examples of these could be:

• Horror
• Romantic
• Rom-com 
• Comedy
• Action 
• Fantasy 
• History 
• Drama 

Most of these genres are not mixed and come by themselves. This tends to be different with thrillers as they are usually mixed genres. 

An example of this would be:
